KSU to Have Free Information Session for Project Management Certificate Program

May 4, 2017

A free information session for Kennesaw State University’s Project Management certificate program will be held Wednesday, May 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at KSU Center (room 213), 3333 Busbee Drive in Kennesaw. This professional certificate program is offered by KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education.

The 12-week Project Management Certificate program at the college is led by Francine Warner and Pete Schestopol, two instructors with more than 50 years of combined experience in the field. Warner has over 30 years of experience as an IT Professional with extensive experience in IT project management and software development.  She has managed several multi-million-dollar projects for Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies over the last 15 years. Warner holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute. Schestopol is a Project Manager with over 28 years of project management experience. He earned his Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute in 2001.

“The instructors provided real-life examples from their own projects and experiences and repeated explanations as many times to ensure everyone understood the material,” said Jana Jenkins, program graduate. “By getting PMP certified, I will be able to run larger programs and projects while using Lean Six Sigma methodology to streamline the process.”

All attendees will receive a coupon for a $200 discount coupon to be used for the May 18th class. For more information, contact Tracy Jordan-Alibachus, Project Management certificate program manager, by calling 470-578-6765 or visiting ccpe.kennesaw.edu.
