Blue Sky Exhibits Soars Past Customers’ Expectations, Delivers Award Winning Designs

May 9, 2016

This article is number 1 in a series of profiles of the Cobb Chamber’s 2016 Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year. Check back with Chamber Ink everyday in May for a new profile on a different Top 25 Business. We will wrap up the series on June 6 with the announcement of the 2016 Small Business of the Year.

The 2016 top 25 Small Businesses of the Year have been named! In 1982, the Small Business of the Year awards were established to honor the important role that small businesses play in the Cobb community and the economy.

We’re going to shine a spotlight on all of these exceptional companies that keep Cobb influential and thriving, and all leading to our June 6 First Monday Breakfast where we will announce the overall winner!

BlueSkyLogo_Alpha 2014To start our blog series is Blue Sky Exhibits, a premier exhibit company with expertise in design, manufacturing and field-related services to the Trade Show Industry. They also offer solutions that enable clients to sell their products and meet marketing objectives.

Established in 2003, Blue Sky Exhibits created a unique business model based on the concept of partnering with a variety of production facilities. This allows them to offer a much wider range of design elements and provides their customers with the very best resources to facilitate the final creative solution.

With their unique manufacturing model they are able to offer a high quality construction in the industry all while keeping their pricing extremely competitive. Blue Sky’s value-added services include pre- and post-show marketing, event marketing, data mining and assisting clients with strategic marketing plans.

Facing Adversity
Blue Sky Exhibits took what could potentially be an issue and turned into a new business opportunity. They needed more space for three months out of the year based on their customer’s trade show schedule, but had no need for it the other nine months out of the year.

Their solution: they expanded by 78,000 square feet and created a new company called Base Camp ATL. They sub lease the space to short term studio film projects which helps take advantage of the thriving film industry in Georgia. This without a doubt strengthens Blue Sky and are anticipated to be a fast track of growth in Atlanta.

Community Involvement
Blue Sky Exhibits is involved in the Cobb Community by helping with Shepard Center, The Wounded Warrior Project, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, MUST Ministries, YWCA and so much more!

Congratulations to Blue Sky Exhibits on all of their accomplishments over the years and making it into the Chamber’s Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year!
