ATT donation

On May 21, The Georgia Ballet received a donation of $9,000 from AT&T. Regional Director of AT&T Georgia, Don Barbour, presented the check to Joy Johnson, Executive Director of The Georgia Ballet. State Representative and Board member, Don Parsons was present while the award was presented. Parsons has been a dedicated member of The Georgia Ballet’s board for five years.

AT&T is proud to support The Georgia Ballet’s Arts and Education programs that offer students the opportunity to experience dance through a variety of educational offerings such as field trips to professional performances, lecture demonstrations, free dance instruction in Title 1 schools, free classes for children with special needs and a scholarship program for children from low-income families.

The Georgia Ballet will soon announce their professional company’s 2015-2016 season. The School of The Georgia Ballet is adding new offerings and opportunities to their fall enrollment including a competitive track, greater variety of recreational offerings and an enhanced pre-professional program.
