Hot Stove Gathering Offers Fans Chance to Meet Braves’ Terry Pendleton

ATL Braves LogoThis year’s Hot Stove Gathering, held on January 26th, will feature legendary Atlanta Braves coach and player, Terry Pendleton, who recently reached his fourteen year mark as the Atlanta Braves’ first base coach. The notable Braves coach also enjoys meritorious achievements as a player such as being named the National League’s Most Valuable Player in 1991, as well as being selected to the 1992 All-Star team during his stint with Atlanta.

“We are extremely excited to have Terry in Rome for our Hot Stove Gathering this year,” says Rome Braves General Manager Michael Dunn. “Fans will have the opportunity to meet a former MVP and All-Star and talk baseball as we prepare for the upcoming season.”

The annual event, which is now approaching its fifteenth anniversary, was originally conceived as a means to stir awareness and raise money for local charities here in the Metro Atlanta Area, and since has proven as a viable device for raising both local funding and consciousness in the public interest. Braves fans who take part in this event can enjoy a plethora of novelties including, but not limited to: gourmet ballpark fare dinner consisting of hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, etc. There will also be an opportunity for those interested to participate in a Q&A session, autograph session and much more!

Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and can be purchased at the Rome Braves ticket office and online at beginning Tuesday January 6th at 10 a.m. Children’s tickets are $10 in advance ($12 at the door). Season ticket holders can take advantage of getting two tickets for $25 if they purchase now. Tickets purchased the day of the event are based on availability.

Special VIP tickets can be purchased that include a cocktail reception meet and greet with the evening’s special guests and gift bag. VIP tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

The Rome Braves open the season on April 9th against the Asheville Tourists at 7 p.m.
