Horace Mann to fund $10,000 worth of projects in Cobb County

Horace Mann, proud Cobb Chamber member, has partnered with to help bring vital funding to schools across America. Their latest collaboration involves applying $10,000 toward projects directly to Cobb County educators.

From now until Oct. 1, 2014, encourage your teachers to add projects. To get started, teachers should visit, select “Get Started” to create a teacher account, and follow the instructions on how to submit a project. Individual meetings with teachers will also be available to show them how easy it is to submit projects.

Every teacher from Cobb County who has a project on the website on Oct. 1, 2014 is eligible to win funding from Horace Mann. On that day, a winner will randomly be selected and their project will be fully funded until the $10,000 limit is reached. is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. Since 2011, Horace Mann has donated more than $2.5 million in classroom funding. During this time of tight school budgets, Horace Mann is honored to help Cobb’s teachers and public education system.
