Addressing the Needs of Cobb’s Students: Omega Learning Center

July 2, 2013

Omega Learning 2013

In 2005, three Cobb County residents, Kimberly Smith (sister), Kathy Keeton (sister), and Joyce Smith (mother) decided to establish Omega Learning Center, a full-service educational center that provides tutoring services and is also a private school. Driven by their passion for learning excellence, the women of Omega Learning Center wanted to open an accredited tutoring center for all grades with diversified services, daily communicated by certified teachers, program flexibility and an enrichment-based curriculum, all for an affordable price.

The mission of Omega Learning Center is to provide higher learning opportunities for all ages throughout their academic years. Today, Omega Learning has one corporately-owned center in Acworth and 10 additional franchised centers across four states. Omega is working to prepare a bright future for our youth while strengthening the Cobb, Douglas, Fulton, Forsyth and Gwinnett communities.

In 2012, Omega Learning donated 340 hours of community service and $20,000 to nonprofit organizations. The company is involved with Devereux Children’s Home, Must Ministries, Faithbridge Foster Care, the Atlanta Hunger Walk and many more charitable organizations.

This 2013 Top 25 Small Business of the Year company strives to provide a warm and friendly learning environment for students whom they consider part of the “Omega” family. The three full-time employees and 40 part-time employees teach more than 350 clients and motivate students to take control of their academic success. This organization continues to grow and remain dedicated to the metro Atlanta communities.
