The Investigative Accounting Group, doing business as IAG Forensics, is a CPA firm concentrating in forensic accounting, fraud investigation and litigation support. The company’s motto is to “find the truth behind the numbers.” IAG Forensics’ mission is to provide value to clients and focus on integrity, professionalism and passion for its work and relationships.

IAG Forensics was incorporated in 2003 and is owned by Laurie Dyke. The Investigative Accounting Group employs professionals who have strong experience in forensic accounting, and they are often called to provide witness testimony in state and federal courts. IAG Forensics mainly works with litigation attorneys representing clients involved in white collar crime, business disputes, fraud, estate and trust accounting, bankruptcy and more.

IAG Forensics is committed to community service through its involvement with the Cobb YWCA and YMCA, Cobb Family Resources, March of Dimes, Girl Scouts and many more organizations. The company donated 1,500 hours of community service and $5,000 to nonprofit organizations. In 2012, IAG Forensics was awarded the Innovations in Pro Bono Service award by the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.

This 2013 Top 25 Small Business of the Year has also worked with Southern Polytechnic students, serving as advisors and participants in the schools’ annual mock trial event. Dyke served on the Citizens Oversight Committee for the Cobb County Board of Commissioners and was recently appointed to the Cobb County Audit Committee. Partner Karen Fortune is treasurer and board member of Turning Point Women’s Healthcare in serving breast cancer patients and also provides ministry support to Clarkstone international refugees. IAG Forensics continues to grow and remain committed to the Cobb community.
