Wesley began exhibiting his work in 2003, winning many awards and honors. He has won the Board of Directors Award at the Camera South Exhibition in 2004, the Award of Merit  at the Art in the Park exhibition in 2005 and 2006, the AAC Photography Celebration Award for 2010 and 2011, along with many other honors, and has most recently had a limited collectors series of prints made for the Atlanta Photographic Group.

In 2010, and twice in 2011, he held solo exhibitions in Europe called the Serbian Balkan Beauty Project, the pictures from which, are featured in this post. The overall theme of Wesley’s photography is to find beauty and meaning in the unexpected and everyday things we take for granted.

Wesley holds a MA from Richmont Graduate University, a MDiv from Samford University, a MS and BA from Vanderbilt University and an AA from Kennesaw State University. He also holds a CLU and ChFC from the American College.

Join us in celebrating an emerging international artist who calls Atlanta his home and be sure to visit the Cobb Chamber to see his work on display!
